Чи порушуємо ми права бідних у світі?

Порушення прав людини включає в себе нереалізовані права людини і конкретне активне причинне відношення людських агентів до такого невиконання. Цей причинно-наслідковий зв’язок може мати інтеракційний характер, але він також може бути інституційним тоді, коли агенти співпрацюють у розробці та застосуванні інституційних механізмів, які передбачувано і відворотно спричиняють невиконання прав людини. Легкодоступні дані свідчать про те, що: а) основні соціально-економічні права людини залишаються невиконаними для близько половини населення земної кулі і б) розробка наднаціонального інституційного механізму відіграє важливу роль у поясненні того, чому бідна половина людства страждає від швидкого зниження своєї частки (нині нижче трьох відсотків) у загальносвітових доходах домогосподарств. Може бути з необхідністю доведено те, що добре забезпечені громадяни впливових країн спільно порушують права бідних у світі у величезних масштабах.
