Анотація

У статті розглядаються перспективи Європейського суду з прав людини відповідно до нових Протоколів № 15 і № 16 до Конвенції про захист прав людини і основоположних свобод. Обґрунтовується висновок про існування діалектичної залежності між підтриманням авторитету Європейського суду з прав людини та необхідністю звуження можливостей на індивідуальні звернення до нього. Автор звертає увагу на передумови та процес розроблення вказаних Протоколів і їх значення для реформування конвенційного механізму захисту прав людини.
